Martí Burgués is a composer noted for his versatility, the result of his origins as an electric guitarist. This modern base became a meeting point between different sound universes when, when he began his composition studies at the Superior Conservatory of the Taller de Músics with Raquel García-Tomás as his mentor, he merged his roots in modern music with the traditions of classical and contemporary music.
Later, he completed his composition studies at the Liceu Superior Conservatory, under the tutelage of Oliver Rappoport and Octavi Rumbau. In this period, in 2022, he was awarded one of the SGAE Foundation scholarships for studies in composition, and he has received master classes from renowned composers such as Hèctor Parra, Benet Casablancas and Ramon Humet.
Finally, to deepen his technical and creative training, he studied the Master's Degree in Music and Sound for Entertainment Experiences at ENTI-UB, in which he acquired a broader vision of the relationship between music and the listener through interactivity and technology.
His career reflects a remarkable creative diversity, with works that embrace areas as varied as new creation, video games, sound art, theater, cinema, as well as arrangements for choir and "cobla".
